Jim was a wonderful husband. He and Penny were together for 39 years, which was nowhere near long enough. He was a great Dad and Grandpa.
Jim was a remarkable man. Without exception all who knew him describe him as a nice guy, forthright and honest. He lived south of the Thames for half a century but never lost his Geordie accent.
He was a proud supporter of Saints, the St Helens Rugby League team and proud of his Scottish heritage. He will be very much missed and always remembered.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.
In lieu of flowers you are welcome to make donations to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis in Jim’s memory.
For you, Jim.
Sending my best wishes to Penny, Sam and Alec. So sorry for your loss. Jim was a lovely man and I know he will be greatly missed.
RIP, Jim. Love to the family.
